While this one isn’t theatre, it’s too good not to mention if you enjoy live performance. The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra has introduced First Look Seats, a new way for audiences to experience world-class orchestral music at a very accessible price.
For every concert in the 2026 season, the MSO releases an allocation of $20 tickets, designed especially for people who haven’t been to the MSO, who are keen to try an orchestral performance. It’s a wonderful option if you enjoy music or simply want something a little different from the usual theatre night.
First Look Seats are released monthly for the following month. Numbers are limited, so it’s worth checking regularly and booking early when tickets drop.
