1. Morning Melodies at Arts Centre Melbourne — Monthly at Hamer Hall
Melbourne’s longest-running daytime series returns in 2026 with a monthly line-up spanning music theatre, swing and classical, with both 11:00 am and 1:30 pm sessions. Each show runs about an hour — long enough for a morning out, short enough to leave time for a café lunch or a wander along the river.

2. Mostly Mozart at Melbourne Recital Centre — Seasonal Matinees
Presented with the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM), this classical series returns to the Melbourne Recital Centre in 2026. Concerts start at 11:00 am, with complimentary morning tea served from 10:00 am beforehand.

9. Morning Music – Boroondara Arts & Hawthorn Arts Centre
The Morning Music 2026 series brings monthly matinees to venues including Hawthorn Arts Centre and Kew Seniors Centre, with free morning tea included. Genres rotate month to month — jazz, big band, soul, country — so it’s worth checking what’s on before you book.

10. Sincerely Yours– Dame Vera Lynn Show

The Waterloo Cup Hotel in Moonee Ponds runs a Morning Melodies series built around tribute artists and nostalgic favourites. For $15 you get a one-hour show plus morning tea.
