When is Victorian Seniors Week 2024?

Between Sunday 6 to Sunday 13 October 2024 Victorian Seniors Card holders receive a full week of completely free public transport across the state.

What’s on in Regional Victoria – Victorian Seniors Festival 2024

Country Concerts (1-31 Oct 2024). Enjoy free and very low cost live music across 23 rural and regional communities in Victoria. Concerts include various performances such as “What’s New Pussycat?” in Hamilton and Portland, a tribute to the Everly Brothers and Buddy Holly in Wangaratta, and multiple shows by Amber Joy Poulton and Lonnie Lee. Morning Melodies – Seymour (Tues 1 Oct 2024). Come for a sing-a-long and dance to your favourite classic tunes, played by Noel Pearson! Sing along to hits from the 50s, 60s and 70s. Free event. Book online.

Come ‘n Try Croquet – Ballarat Alexandra Croquet Club (Thurs 3 Oct 2024). A free 2 hour session of croquet, learning the basics and playing croquet. Qualified coaching and mentoring from club members. An introduction to the game followed by morning tea. All access availability, no steps. Free event. Book here.

Picnic in the park with Jazzaratta – Wangaratta (Sat 5 Oct 2024). Join Jazzarata Big Band as you have lunch in the pleasant surroundings of the King George Gardens. Bookings essential, contact Doug [email protected].

Tamil musical and dance performance – Berwick (Sat 5 Oct 2024). Tamil musical and dance performances staged by professional artists. A Sri Lankan lunch will be served at the end of the event. Presented by Casey Tamil Manram Inc. Contact [email protected].

Dunkeld Museum Seniors Sundays (Sun 6, 13, 20, 27 Oct 2024). The Dunkeld & District Historical Museum holds a vast array of artifacts that span numerous periods and events in social history. Bendigo Seniors Festival Variety Concert (Sun 6 Oct 2024). Join Bendigo and District Concert Band for well-known songs we all love to hear. $5 tickets, bookings essential. Money raised goes to Uniting Emergency Relief at Kangaroo Flat Uniting Church. Contact Christine via [email protected]

Honky Tonk Queens (Tues 8 Oct in Camperdown, Thur 10 Oct in Castlemaine, Fri 11 Oct in Bendigo, Sun 13 Oct in Ararat, Mon 14 Oct in Horsham). Coryule Seniors Concert (Thurs 10 Oct 2024). Hear this popular local community choir sing much loved musical tunes and enjoy a chance to sing along with the choir too. Seniors Week Garden Party (Thurs 10 Oct 2024). Wear a fancy hat and enjoy a stroll around the beautiful Long Gully Community Garden, Bendigo, followed by light refreshments. What’s on in Regional Victoria – Victorian Seniors Festival 2024

Rita Parkinson Fine Art Exhibition at Marli’s Bar Portarlington (Fri 11 Oct – Sun 27 Oct 2024). Enjoy a lazy afternoon gazing upon the exquisite artwork by Rita Parkinson. All while sipping on fabulous cocktails & delicious morsels served by Marli and her friendly staff, in the relaxing cosy surrounds of Marli’s Bar in the picturesque Portarlington.
